In Memory Of Ray Oeltjen
An avid outdoorsman, Ray hunted across the globe and was a championship trap shooter who taught hundreds to shoot, passionately advocating for Second Amendment rights. Known as a kind, family-oriented mentor, Ray’s guidance inspired many to ask, “What would Ray do?” His legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched.
As Ray was a firm believer in the importance of youth shooting sports, the family has requested that those wishing to donate in memory of Ray consider the Oregon State High School Clay Target League. Over 1,100 Oregon students on 59 high-school teams participated this spring through the League’s Trap, Skeet, 5-Stand, and Sporting Clays programs.
Donations to the Oregon State High School Clay Target League in memory of Ray Oeltjen will be used to further increase youth clay target shooting sports opportunities within the state.
